Made to measure

What does made-to-measure mean?

A made-to-measure suit is produced individually in all details for the client. This starts with the taking of measurements, continues with the selection of cuts, outer fabrics and patterns and is completed with details such as initials and buttons. There are no limits to individuality.

Where is the Eduard Dressler Made-to-Measure service offered?

What happens if I no longer like my Made-to-Measure suit?

As the suit is made individually for the client, a return is not possible. For further information, please contact your local Made-to-Measure partner.

Fabrics

Why do we source our fabrics from Italy?

Italy is not only considered the land of fashion, but also the land of weavers. The best weavers in the world come from Italy, mostly from the Biella region. And that’s where we get most of our fabrics from.

Does Eduard Dressler also develop its own fabrics?

In close cooperation with our partners, we have been able to set our own course in the development of innovative fabrics in recent years: We have succeeded in implementing outstanding natural stretch and bi-stretch properties in our premium compositions.

What is bi-stretch or natural bi-stretch all about?

We talk about natural bi-stretch when a fabric has outstanding performance properties and flexibility in all directions – without artificial ingredients like elastane. We often develop these special fabrics ourselves in cooperation with our Italian partner companies.

Sustainability

How sustainable is Eduard Dressler's production?

Our supply chain is European. It has short transport routes with the lowest possible CO₂ emissions. We maintain respectful and fair partnerships with our European partners. We attach great importance to animal welfare and the sustainable use of raw materials. We appreciate the value of human labour.

Where are Eduard Dressler products made?

Our production facilities are located in Europe. We do not cross the oceans to produce our garments.

How does Eduard Dressler ensure that its partners work sustainably?

All our partners are guided by the same values that we are committed to and attach great importance to animal welfare and the sustainable use of raw materials. They always have multiple certifications, for example AZO, REACH and OEKO-TEX100.
